We’ve still got a few weeks before Halloween hits, so you’ve got plenty of time to stock up on Halloween sweets for trick or treaters. If, however, you forget to prepare and end up scrambling for last-minute candy, try one of these halloween treats that can easily be thrown together from ingredients you probably already have stocked in your pantry or your fridge.

1. Mummified Cookies

Forget about complex Halloween treats that call for hardcore baking. For a quick fix, whip up some shortbread cookies (all you need is sugar, butter, flour, and salt). In a separate bowl, whip powdered sugar, butter, milk, and food coloring to create icing. Create a piping bag using parchment paper or a plastic baggie with the tip cut out, and fill with the icing.

2. Pretzel Ghouls

If cookies and icing are a bit more time intensive than you’d prefer, these pretzel ghouls are a little bit simpler. Simply take a long pretzel stick, dip it in melted white chocolate (which you can heat over medium heat to melt), and decorated with miniature chocolate chips for the eyes and mouth, or find small food items around the kitchen to use for decorating.

3. Fruity Pumpkins

The easiest (and consequently, the healthiest) Halloween treat we’ve got are fruity pumpkins. You can throw them together in less than a minute using just two things: clementines and a celery stalk. Cut the celery stalk into a thin one inch tall “stem”. Carefully peel the clementine and simply stick the cut celery stick into the top center of the fruit. Plate them together to mimic a pumpkin patch, and let kids grab one for a refreshing snack during the Halloween festivities.

4. Creepy Chattering Teeth

Another healthy, but tasty, option for Halloween treats is Creepy Chattering Teeth. All you need is a few apples, sliced lengthwise to form a crescent shape, peanut butter, and small marshmallows. Squeeze a bit of lime juice on the apple slices to prevent them from turning brown. To form each mouth, take two apple slices and spread a thin layer of peanut butter on one side of each slice. Add a line of marshmallows into one of the apple slices with peanut butter to form teeth. Then, take the last apple slice and position it on top of the marshmallows, peanut butter side down.
